ADORNO HINOJOSA, GONZALO. - Spanish Jesuit theologian, b. at Jerez de la Frontera on Sept. 7, 1751, d. Feb. 17, 1812 at Viterbo, where he had been deported with the Spanish Jesuits in 1767.
Among his writings are: *Lettera domatica* (1789); *Della privativa autorità del sacerdozio evangelico sugli impedimenti dirimenti e sulle cause matrimoniali* (1789); *Dell'origine dell'immunità del clero cattolico* (1791).
