ADORNO HINOJOSA, GONZALO. – Spanish Jesuit theologian, born in Jerez de la Frontera on 7 September 1751, died on 17 February 1812 at Viterbo, where he had been deported with the Spanish Jesuits in 1767.
Among other works, he wrote: Lettera dommatica (1789); Della primitiva autorità del sacerdozio evangelico sugli impedimenti dirimenti e sulle cause matrimoniali (1789); Dell'origine dell'immunità del clero cattolico (1791).
