TOMMASO MARIA AMENDOLIA. — Dominican theologian of the 17th century, born at S. Giorgio di Polistena (Calabria), he lived for a long time in Naples where he taught theology: he was still living in 1717.

Works: *De Sacramento Poenitentiae*, Messina 1687; *Collectanea in septem Ecclesiae Sacramenta*, 3 vols., Naples 1699, with subsequent editions; *Collectanea in ecclesiasticas censuras et poenas*, 2 vols., Naples 1702; *Resolutiones morales et practicae*, Naples 1706; *Collectanea de Justitia et Iure*, 2 vols., Naples 1712.

His brother Giuseppe, also a Dominican, is the author of a *Tractatus de potestate praelatorum*, Naples 1705.
