AMOLO. – Bishop of Lyon from 841 to 852; d. 31 March 852. He wrote against the errors of Godescalcus (v.) concerning predestination: *Epistola ad Gotheschalcum*; *De gratia et praescientia Dei*; *B. Augustini sententiae de praedestinatione* (PL 116, 77–184). He is mentioned in some local liturgical books of Lyon, but he did not receive true cultus.
