ANALECTA ORDINIS CARMELITARUM DISCALCEATORUM. — Quarterly journal begun in 1926 at the wish of the General Chapter of the Order held in Rome in 1925, under the title A. Ordinis Carmelitarum Excalceatorum. But already in its second year of existence (1927), it changed its title to A. Ord. Carm. Discalceatorum.
Each issue follows a fixed programme: acts of the Holy See, acts of the Order, the history of the Order, publication of documents, bibliography of writers; chronicle, obituary notices, and reviews of books written by members of the Order. The language used is Latin. Particularly worthy of mention are the two works by Fr. Ambrogio di S. Teresa: Bio-Bibliographia Missionaria O. C. D. (1548–1940) and Nomenclator Missionariorum O. C. D., published separately, respectively: Rome 1941, 1944. Celestino Testore
