ARTE CRISTIANA

CHRISTIAN ART. – A monthly illustrated review founded in Milan in 1913 by the society “Amici dell’arte cristiana,” inspired and founded by Monsignor Celso Costantini, with the aim of fostering love, culture, and progress in sacred art in general, and especially in liturgical art, without preference for schools or tendencies, provided they are not discordant with the Christian spirit. In addition to richly illustrated articles on ancient and modern Christian art, it contains news notes, reviews, bibliographies, and answers to practical questions.
