ASCLEPIO. — An African bishop, about whom Gennadius writes, De viris illustribus, 73 (PL 58, 1102): “A. African, from the territory of Baiae (an uncertain locality), a great bishop, wrote against the Arians and is now said to be writing against the Donatists.
