BARTHOLOMEW of PALAZZOLO. - Augustinian penitent, born in 1430, died in Brescia on 3 October 1502. He was an example of outstanding virtue among the Hermits of St Augustine. It is said that after his death many extraordinary events occurred through his intercession. His name is associated with a copious Martyrology, which was printed in Pavia in 1487.
