BASILI, ANDREA. — Composer, born in Città della Pieve (1703?), died at Loreto on 29 August 1777. Organist at the S. Casa, he is the author of a large quantity of sacred music, an oratorio, organ pieces (manuscripts in the archive of the S. Casa), and a manual of harmony and counterpoint for organists and harpsichordists.
