BINAGO, LORENZO. — Barnabite, architect, born and died in Milan (1556–1629). His most significant work is the reconstruction of S. Alessandro in Milan, in spacious and solemn forms, begun in 1602 and left unfinished. Also noteworthy are the Barnabite church of Casale, inaugurated in 1594, and S. Marco in Novara. F. M. Richino (v.) was his pupil.
