BRY, CARL CHRISTIAN. - It was the pseudonym of the writer Carlo Decke, b. at Stralsund on 12 April 1892, d. at Davos on 9 February 1926.

Of his works the best known are: Des Buches Werdegang und Schicksal ("History and Destiny of the Book", 1924); and Verhappte Religionen ("Veiled Religions", 1925). In these works, rich in ingenious paradoxes, he combats all the pseudo-doctrines of man's health by asserting the need for a deeper understanding of the Catholic religion.
