Bader, Karl

BADER, KARL. - Publicist, b. in Freiburg im Breisgau on 9 Dec. 1796, d. there on 19 June 1874. He defended with constancy and a spirit of independence the rights and freedom of the Church in Baden and took part in the polemic of the so-called "German Question" against the solution upheld by Prussia. He was a contributor to the Historisch-politischen Blätter.
