CRITIQUE BULLETIN. - The first issue appeared in Paris on 15 May 1880, following upon the Echo. Its program was to publish, from the Catholic point of view rather than the rationalist one of the Revue critique, a series of scholarly reviews of the most notable publications in literature, history and theology, with numerous references for the scholar far from literary centers, also offering unpublished miscellany. It had an editorial committee that included A. Baudrillart, E. Beurlier, L. Duchesne, one of the principal contributors, A. Ingold, L. Lescoeur, F. Plessis, P. Scheil, H. Thedenat. It ceased publication in 1908.
