CLAUDIUS, ASTERIUS, NEON, DOMNINA
and TEONILLA, Saints. – Martyrs of Aegea (in Cilicia)
in 285; the Western martyrologies commemorate them on 23 August, while the Greek synaxaria list them on 30 October and 27 January. Two Latin recensions of the original Acts survive, both differing from those abridged in the Synaxarion of Constantinople and the Menologion of Basil. The two holy women D. and T. were added later to the original group.
