COSMOS CATHOLICUS. - A large-format, illustrated fortnightly Catholic review published in Rome from January 1899 to 1 January 1903.
It began publication under the title Catholicum, which was changed to C. c. in the second half of the same year. Its aim was to provide readers in all countries with contemporary chronicles of the Holy See and the Catholic world, following religious and moral progress in various states, the work of missionaries, and manifestations of Christian genius in the sciences, letters, and arts.
