DE SPECTACULIS. — A short treatise attributed to s. Cipriano (in the manuscripts, Cipriano’s letters follow), which, in the form of an epistle, admonishes the faithful people not to attend the pagan games. A more beautiful spectacle is offered to the Christian by the universe and by Sacred Scripture. The author of this little work is, in all probability, the schismatic Novaziano. The author frequently followed Tertulliano’s homonymous work.
