ELISEO (Elisce). - An Armenian historian of the 5th century, author of homilies and commentaries, as well as a History of the Wars of the Armenians (from 451 A.D.), written with hagiographical and literary aims, in an elegant and harmonious style, though with Hellenizing nuances. Some modern critics place him in the 6th century.
