ELISEO (ELISCE). – Armenian historian of the 5th century, author of homilies and commentaries, as well as of a History of the Wars of the Armenians (from A.D. 451), written with hagiographical and literary aims, in an elegant and harmonious style, but with precise nuances. Some modern critics place him in the 6th century.
