DAUGHTERS OF MARY IMMACULATE FOR DOMESTIC SERVICE. — Institute founded in Madrid in 1876 by the Bl. Vincenza Maria Lopez Vicuña under the guidance of Fr. Isidoro Hidalgo y Soba, for the care and material and spiritual assistance of young women employed in domestic service. The Institute was approved by the Holy See and today has 52 houses with 1,100 religious.
