PRIESTLY FRATERNITY. – An institution founded in Paris in 1901 on the initiative of Fr. M. E. Prevost (born in 1860, died in 1946), to provide priests with houses of shelter and rest, where they might find spiritual, intellectual, and material comfort, as well as the assistance of which they are so much in need, especially if alone or ill. The work currently has 4 houses in France, 2 in Italy, and 2 in Canada.
