PRIESTLY FRATERNITY. — An institution founded in Paris in 1901 at the initiative of Fr. M. E. Prevost (b. 1860, d. 1946), established to provide priests with homes and places of rest where they could find spiritual, intellectual, and material comfort, as well as the assistance they greatly need, especially when alone or ill. Today the work has 4 houses in France, 2 in Italy, and 2 in Canada.
