GIOVANNI di MAIUMA. — Around 515 he wrote the Plerophoriai, a collection of anecdotes, prophecies, and visions of Monophysites in their struggle against the Council of Chalcedon. The work exists only in Coptic fragments and in its entirety in a Syriac translation by Giovanni Rufo.
