SCITOPOLIS, John of. - Bishop of the 6th century. The first commentator on the pseudo-Areopagitic works. He wrote around 530 against Severus of Antioch and another work against Eutyches and Dioscorus, according to the testimony of Photius (Bibl., cod. 95; PG, 103, col. 340 ff.).
