JOHN OF EUBOEA. - Presbyter and bishop, it is not known whether of a bishopric on the island of Euboea or of another place, probably of the 8th century. Author of some homilies, of a panegyric (unpublished) in honor of St. Anastasia and of a martyrdom (unpublished) of St. Parasceve. Two of his homilies have been published in PG 96, 1459-1508. A third, on St. Lazarus, was made known by F. Dölger.
