GIOVANNI of EUBEA. - Presbyter and bishop, it is unknown whether of a see on the Island of Eubea or of another place, probably of the 8th century. Author of some sermons, an unpublished panegyric in honor of St. Anastasia, and an unpublished martyrdom of St. Parasceve. Two of his sermons were published in PG 96, 1459-1508. A third on St. Lazarus was made known by F. Dölger.
