GIOVANNI di EUBEA. — Presbyter and bishop; it is not known whether he belonged to a bishopric on the island of Euboea or to another place, probably in the eighth century. Author of several homilies, of an unpublished panegyric in honor of St. Anastasia, and of an unpublished martyrdom of St. Parasceve. Two of his homilies were published in PG 96, 1459–1508. A third, on St. Lazarus, was brought to light by F. Dölger.
