GORGONIA, Saint. — Sister of St. Gregory Nazianzen, who celebrated her in a famous funeral oration, died around 370 at a still young age, after her husband and five children. She is commemorated in the Roman Martyrology on December 9, but the actual day of her death is unknown, nor does it seem that she died at Nazianzus.
