IESU REX ADMIRABILIS

Also known as: Latin: Jesu Rex Admirabilis

"IESU REX ADMIRABILIS". - Hymn of Matins for the feast of the Name of Jesus, taken, like the other two cited above, from the Iubilus rhythmicus de nomine Iesu.

Jesus is the sole object of love, the only one worthy of it. When he is in man, all light envelops him and the universe vanishes. To these concepts of high spirituality the author delights in returning often, to develop them and deepen them ever more and better.
