«IESU REX ADMIRABILIS». – Hymn of Matins for the feast of the Name of Jesus, taken, like the other two cited above, from the Iubilus rhythmicus de nomine Iesu.
Jesus is the sole object of love, the only one worthy of II. When he is in man, all light envelops him and the universe vanishes. The author takes pleasure in returning frequently to these ideas of lofty spirituality, developing and deepening them ever more fully and effectively.
