Le Nobletz, Marguerite

LE NOBLETZ, MARGUERITE. - Sister of Michel Le N., born at Kerodern in Plouguerneau (formerly the diocese of Léon) in 1583, died at Ploaré in 1633.

Persuaded by her brother to renounce the world, she lived in the most complete poverty, entirely dedicated to the service and instruction of the poor, often following Michel on his missions and preparing the faithful for the Sacraments. Having settled at Ploaré, she intensified her apostolate and organized groups of Christian women to assist her in catechesis and in the care of the poor. Her tomb at Ploaré is held in great veneration, and many miracles are attributed to her intercession.
