SAN GIUSEPPE DI GRAJAÚ, PRELATURE “NULLIUS”. — Suffragan of S. Luigi del Maranhao, in the State of Maragnano (Brazil).

It was erected on 10 February 1922 and entrusted to the Lombard Capuchins, who had established a mission there in 1895.

It has a population of 100,000 inhabitants, including 10,000 Indigenous people, and comprises 5 parishes, with 8 Capuchin priests. There are 4 houses of Capuchin Tertiaries. Residence: Grajaú (State of Maragnano).
