La Vie Intellectuelle

VIE INTELLECTUELLE, LA. – Biweekly periodical of the Dominicans of the French province, published from 1928 to 1940 under the direction of Fr. Bernardot.

It was contributed to chiefly by the Dominicans of Juvisy, but the contributions of other religious and laypeople were not lacking. The articles aimed to illustrate, in the light of Catholicism, the achievements and trends of contemporary thought in every field; particular attention was devoted to the most topical problems in the philosophical, his-

torical, and scientific fields. From 1929 onward, the periodical was accompanied by the publication of a series entitled Les documents de la vie intellectuelle.
