The Intellectual Life. - [A fortnightly periodical of the Dominicans of the French province, published from 1928 to 1940 under the direction of Fr Bernardot.
Its principal contributors were the Dominicans of Juvisy, though contributions were not lacking from other religious and lay people. The articles aimed to illustrate, in the light of Catholicism, the achievements and trends of contemporary thought in all fields; particular attention was given to the most pressing issues in the philosophical, historical and scientific spheres. From 1929 onwards, the periodical was accompanied by the publication of a series entitled Les documents de la vie intellectuelle.
