LA VIE INTELLECTUELLE. - A fortnightly periodical of the Dominicans of the French province, which appeared from 1928 to 1940 under the direction of Fr. Bernardot.
The Dominicans of Juvisy were its principal contributors, but the contribution of other religious and of laymen was not lacking. The articles aimed to illustrate, in the light of Catholicism, the achievements and tendencies of contemporary thought in every field; particularly treated were the problems of greatest current relevance in the philosophical, historical and scientific fields. From 1929 the periodical was accompanied by the publication of a series entitled Les documents de la vie intellectuelle.
