LA VIE SPIRITUELLE. - French monthly review, founded in 1919 by the Dominicans of the theological school of St-Maximin, with the aim of directing cultured persons toward the life of the spirit, according to the doctrine of the Church.It subsequently passed under the direction of the Dominicans of Juvisy, and from 1922, alongside the normal edition, it had an expanded one comprising a supplement with three sections (Chroniques, A travers les revues, Les livres) addressed especially to spiritual directors. Interrupted during the Second World War, the supplement was resumed in May 1947.
