La Vie Spirituelle

VIE SPIRITUELLE, LA. – French monthly journal, founded in 1919 by the Dominicans of the theological school of St-Maximin, with the aim of guiding educated people toward the life of the spirit, according to the doctrine of the Church.

Subsequently placed under the direction of the Dominicans of Iuvisy, from 1922 it had, alongside the regular edition, an expanded edition containing a supplement with three sections (Chroniques, A travers les revues, Les livres), intended above all for spiritual directors. Interrupted during the Second World War, the supplement was resumed in May 1947.
