AGOSTINO of Bergamo. — Three Augustinians bore this name: of the first it is known only that he was a professor at Paris from 1303 to 1305. The second, vicar of the Lombard congregation in 1501 and who died in 1513, wrote: *De Deo uno et trino*; *Commentaria in IV libros Sententiarum* and some other works not yet identified. The third, a man of reform and vicar of the same congregation under the generalship of Seripando, died in 1550. His works include several treatises: *Dell'orazione mentale*; *Della mortificazione dei sensi*; *Dell'abnegazione di sè medesimo*, etc.
