AGOSTINO da COMO. — Augustinian theologian and preacher, he appears named in the official books of his order in 1388 as residing in Pavia; in 1390 he is called to the baccalaureate; the year of his death is not known with certainty, though some place it in 1451. He wrote: *De virtutibus cardinalibus*; *De septem peccatis mortalibus*; *Sermones*; and *De oculo morali*, preserved in the Laurentian Library in Florence, pluteus XXX, codex 24.
