AGOSTINO da COMO. – An Augustinian theologian and preacher, he appears in the official books of his order in 1388 as residing in Pavia; in 1390 he is called a “bachelor”; the year of his death is not known with certainty, though some place it in 1451. He wrote: De virtutibus cardinalibus; De septem peccatis mortalibus; Sermones; and De oculo morali, preserved in the Laurenziana of Florence, plut. XXX, cod. 24.
