ANTON, GABRIEL. – German psychiatrist (1858–1944), professor at the University of Halle. He was the rapporteur for the famous “Declaration” of the Faculty of Medicine of Halle (1917) on the harmlessness of youthful sexual continence, which provoked criticism from German immoralist physicians.
