in 1587 through the efforts of Manuele Glinzunios, reproduced several times in the following centuries. Revised by Antimo Mazuraki, the text was published last in Venice in 1882. Of this book there also exists a Slavic edition of 1643, and another, Slavic and Romanian, of 1705. Of another nature is the A. composed by Antonio Arcudio, archpriest of Solito, at the suggestion of Card. G. A. Sanctorio, protector of the Greek College, in 1598, and printed at the Vatican Printing House. This edition, severely censured by Leone Allacci, was never used outside Italy. In imitation of the A. there arose not a few collections of offices extracted from the liturgical books, in Greek as well as in Slavic and in Romanian, for the use of the clergy and the laity.
