COLLECTANEA FRANCISCANA. - Quarterly journal, founded in Assisi in 1931 and transferred to Rome in 1941, published under the care of the Historical Institute of the Capuchin Friars Minor.
It publishes articles and notes in various languages dealing with doctrinal and historical topics related to the Capuchin Order and the Franciscan Order in general. Reviews and the annual chronicle of Franciscan cultural events are written in Latin. In a separately numbered section (Bibliografia francescana), all publications—whether separate or in journals—concerning various Franciscan subjects are systematically listed and summarized.

COLLECTANEA SACRAE CONGREGATIONIS DE PROPAGANDA FIDE. - Collection of documents concerning missions.
The series of these collections was inaugurated by the *Constitutiones apostolicae, brevia, decreta, ... pro missionibus Sinarum, Tunquini, ... ad usum RR. DD. episcoporum sacer· dotumque* issued by the supreme pontiffs and by the most eminent cardinals of the Sacred Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith sent to the East (Paris 1676), from which, through further reprints, the *C. constitutionum, decretorum, indultorum ac instructionum Sanctae Sedis* for the use of the apostolic workers of the Society of Missions to Foreign Countries (*Societas missionum ad exteros*) was derived, selected and arranged in order by the directors of the Paris Seminary of the same society (ibid. 1880). A second edition of this work appeared in 1898 with an appendix, and a third in 1905, both printed in Hong Kong.
Finally, the same Sacred Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith decided to publish a universal collection of the principal documents concerning missions, which it issued in a single volume: *C. S. C. de P. F. seu decreta, instructiones, rescripta pro apostolicis missionariis ex tabulario eiusdem S. Congregationis deprompta* (Rome 1893).
The documents included were arranged by subject matter. In 1907, a second edition in two volumes was printed, with the documents arranged chronologically. It should not be assumed that this collection includes all documents relating to missions. Many, even very important ones, were excluded, and more than one would require some correction. Nevertheless, it remains a collection of great value, especially for the numerous decisions of the Holy Office that it contains and which cannot be found elsewhere.
