COLLEVACINO, PIETRO. – Born in Benevento; he was a subdeacon and notary of Pope Innocent III, and a cardinal from 1205. Commissioned by Innocent III to collect the Decretals of the first twelve years (1198–1210) of his pontificate, he compiled what was called the Compilatio tertia (v. COLLEZIONI CANONICHE).
