COLOMBI, BONAVENTURA. — Theologian, outstanding preacher of the Conventual Franciscan Order, born in Nice around the beginning of the 17th century, died after 1670.
He left various works of Franciscan apologetics and philosophical treatises. Among these are remembered the *Apologia Seraphica adversus opinantes s. Franciscus, Minorum institutorum, religionem Eremitarum S. Augustini fuisse professum* (Aix, 1638), the *Novus Cursus philosophicus in via Scoti* (Lyon, 1669), and various treatises on rational, natural, and moral philosophy.
