COLOMBI, BONAVENTURA

COLOMBI, BONAVENTURA. – Theologian and distinguished preacher of the Order of the Conventuals, born in Nice around the beginning of the seventeenth century, died after 1670.

He left various works of Franciscan apologetics and philosophy. Among them are remembered the Apologia Seraphica adversus opinantes s. Franciscum, Minorum institutorem, religionem Eremitarum S. Augustini fuisse professum (Aix 1658), the Novus Cursus philosophicus in via Scoti (Lyon 1669), and various treatises on rational, natural, and moral philosophy.
