casual. On the other hand,
the importance
and position of the
others mentioned are
unknown (it is
very probable, however,
that Linus was the
future successor of
Peter); hence nothing
can be deduced
about E. Nor
can anything be
inferred about his origin
from his name, which
was very widespread,
■ among the Greeks. They commemorate him with Ninfa on 28 February, giving both of them the title of apostles.
