FRANCISCAN STUDIES. - A Franciscan quarterly journal that arose in 1941 at St. Bonaventure College in New York from the merger of the Franciscan Educational Conference (v.) with F. S., a periodical publication of a monographic character, whose title it took over.
In its current form the journal publishes studies and research concerning the various philosophical, theological, historical and social problems considered according to the Franciscan spirit and tradition. One of its issues is generally dedicated to the "report" of the annual congress of the association "Franciscan Educational Conference." Stanislao Majarelli
