GUERRICO of SAINT-QUENTIN (Flandrensis). - Dominican theologian, d. 1245. Already a master of arts and doctor of medicine, G. became a Dominican in Paris in 1225. After his theological studies, he taught in Bologna and then in Paris, where he was the fourth master of theology of his Order, occupying the chair of the "externs" at Saint-Jacques (1233-42).
He wrote Sermons, Disputed and Quodlibetal Questions, Postills, Commentaries on various books of Holy Scripture, listed by Glorieux and Henquinet. Fries identified the Commentary on the Sentences in cod. Vat. lat. 691, written after 1220.
