MADAUROS (Mdaourou) - Epitaph of the priest Liberatus, who died in exile at M. for the Catholic faith (first quarter of the 6th century).

to every school; this will be the characteristic note of the theological orientation of the Barnabites. M.'s doctrine concerning heroic virtue was kept in mind and sometimes discussed by Benedict XIV, in his classic work De servorum Dei beatificatione et beatorum canonizatione (e.g., III, 21-23).
