MAMBRINI, DOMENICO. – Archpriest of Galeata (province of Forlì, diocese of S. Sepolcro), born there on 19 December 1879, died on 1 December 1944.
A student at the Capranica College, he earned degrees in philosophy and canon law. Parish priest for 37 years, a sought-after preacher and a scholar of local history, he built a museum of antiquities, which he described in the learned work: Galeata nella storia e nell'arte (Bagno di Romagna 1935), in which a substantial part of the religious history of upper Romagna is reflected. He left seven other historical-literary works and numerous articles.
