Domenico MAMBRINI. – Archpriest of Galeata (province of Forlì, diocese of S. Sepolcro), born there on 19 December 1879, died on 11 December 1944.
A student of the Capranica College, he earned degrees in philosophy and canon law. Parish priest for 37 years, a sought-after orator, and a scholar of local history, he established a museum of antiquities, which he documented in his erudite work: Galeata nella storia e nell'arte (Bagno di Romagna 1935), reflecting much of the religious history of the upper Romagna region. He left seven other historical-literary works and numerous articles.
