MICHAEL ATTALEIATES. - N. ad Attalia (Panfilia), impiegato superiore a Costantinopoli sotto l'imperatore Costantino Dukas (1059-67) con il titolo di patrizio. He is the author of a legal compendium, of a statute (diataxis) for a house for the poor and a monastery, not forgetting in his will the gift of books for the monastic library, and finally of a history, completed in 1079-80, concerning the events of the years 1034-79.
