PICCOLE SERVE DEL SACRATISSIMO CUORE DI GESÙ. – Religious institute founded in Kraków in 1894 by Canon G. Sebastiano Pelzar, later bishop of Premislia.
Its purpose is to spread devotion to the Sacred Heart and to provide for the material and spiritual needs of persons

in domestic service, women workers, and poor sick people. The Institute was approved by the Ordinary on 23 December 1906. On 14 February 1909 it obtained the decree of praise, and on 17 March 1912 that approving the Constitutions, which were definitively confirmed on 30 January 1923. Before 1939 they had 52 houses with 554 sisters; today their precise number is unknown.
