PICCOLE SERVE DELLA B. M. V. SAN FRANCESCO. – Founded in the diocese of Warsaw in the nineteenth century. They received the decree of praise on 27 May 1909, that of temporary approval of the Constitutions on 8 January 1938, and definitive approval on 29 March 1949.
The special purpose of the Institute is to safeguard Christian life, especially in urban centers and in those experiencing spiritual difficulties. In 1949, the sisters numbered more than 1,000 and had 132 houses divided into four provinces.
