- Bimonthly periodical, founded in Paris in 1910 under the direction of Fr. J. Lebreton, Etudes (v.).
Its purpose is, through studies and research conducted according to a strictly scientific method, to contribute to the ever-greater advancement of knowledge of religious questions, to deepen the treatment of issues that are debated or still uncertain, and to indicate, on certain more delicate or important points, the current state of religious studies. It therefore contains articles, notes, miscellanies, and extensive informative bulletins on the most interesting works and studies concerning the religion of various peoples, the exegesis of the Old and New Testaments, the history of questions and authors in dogmatic and moral theology and philosophy, Christian origins, etc.
