REGISTRO DO ARAGUAIA, PRELATURE «nullius» of. - Suffragan of Cuiabá, in the State of Matto Grosso, Brazil.
It was erected on 12 May 1914 and entrusted to the Salesians of St John Bosco. It comprises 6 parishes, with 14 Salesian priests. In each parish there is a house of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians. Its first apostolic administrator was Mgr Antonio Malan.
