REGNO. – A quarterly periodical, extensively and elegantly illustrated, founded in Assisi in 1942 through the efforts of the “Pro Civitate Christiana,” under the direction of Don Giovanni Rossi, as a journal of advanced Christian studies.
It aims to glorify the divine manifestation of Jesus in modern culture and art, bringing together around the subject the most renowned Italian writers and artists. Ceased in 1943, it resumed in 1945 with an annual issue, returning in 1952 to its original frequency. The scope has also broadened, enriched by the collaboration of authors, poets, and artists from around the world, under the aegis of the universal brotherhood of peoples in Christ.
