TERRABUGIO, GIUSEPPE. – Musician, b. at Fiera di Primiero on 13 May 1842, d. there on 30 January 1933.
He studied in Padua and subsequently perfected his training in Munich with Reinberger. Having settled in Milan, in 1883 he founded there the journal Musica sacra, which he directed for 40 years, fighting tenaciously for the reform of sacred music. He taught organ at the Scuola superiore di Musica sacra and left a large number of church compositions, noteworthy for their contrapuntal qualities and always elevated and noble inspiration in form.
