VITTIME ESPIATRICI DI GESÙ SACRAMENTATO. — Founded in Naples on 16 July 1878 by Sister Maria Cristina Brando dell'Immacolata (born in Naples on 3 May 1856, died there on 26 January 1906).
Their purpose is the education of young women in schools, orphanages, and reformatories. They received the decree of praise and the temporary approval of the Constitutions on 7 July 1903, and definitive approval on 15 March 1911. The sisters currently number 115, with 11 houses, all in southern Italy (Arch. d. S. Congr. dei Relig., N. 22).
