The sisters, while living a contemplative life, engage in apostolic works, such as the catechetical instruction of youth, the management of boarding schools and workshops for workers. The decree of praise was granted in 1867, the approval of the Institute with simple vows and temporary approval of the Constitutions in 1874; the definitive approval came in 1879.
