**AGRAMUNT, José.** Spanish Dominican, b. 1657, d. 1732, of the convent of Valencia, where he entered in 1672. A noted spiritual writer and preacher, he is associated with numerous biographical and devotional works. He held the chair of Hebrew language at the University of Valencia. At the age of 13, he had translated from Italian *L'Astrologo di Moda* by C. M. Corselli (Valencia 1670).
