AGRAMUNT, José. – Spanish Dominican, born in 1657 and died in 1732; he belonged to the convent of Valencia, where he entered in 1672. A prolific spiritual writer and preacher of great renown, he left his name attached to numerous biographical and devotional works. He held the chair of Hebrew at the University of Valencia. At the age of thirteen he had translated from Italian C. M. Corselli’s L'Astrology di Moda (Valencia, 1670).
