AMALRICO AUGERIO of BOURGES. – Augustinian historian, born at Biterris and active in the 14th century. He studied theology at Montpellier and became chaplain to Urban V. He wrote (around 1362) a chronicle of the popes up to Giovanni XXII, in alphabetical order: Acta Romanorum Pontificum, published with additions by L. A. Muratori, Rerum italicarum scriptores, III, II, Milan 1734.
